This fire-resistant glass is a composite material made by laminating multiple sheets of high-transparency, toughened float glass with nano-silica-based intumescent interlayers.
Upon exposure to intense heat, the exposed glass layer shatters. Simultaneously, the nano-silica interlayers expand up to ten times their original thickness to form a rigid, opaque black insulating barrier. This layer effectively blocks flames, intense heat, and toxic gases from penetrating to the unexposed side.
Custom dimensions and configurations are available upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions
The glass is available in standard thicknesses of 25mm, 35mm, 45mm, and 65mm. Custom dimensions and configurations can also be manufactured upon request to meet specific architectural requirements.
When exposed to extreme heat, the outer glass layer shatters. Concurrently, the integrated nano-silica interlayers expand up to ten times their original thickness, forming a solid, opaque black insulating barrier that blocks flames, intense heat, and toxic gases.
The fire resistance duration varies by thickness: 25mm provides 60 minutes of insulation (Grade A1.00); 35mm provides 90 minutes (Grade A1.50); 45mm provides 120 minutes (Grade A2.00); and 65mm provides up to 180 minutes (Grade A3.00).
No. Despite its robust multi-layered fireproof properties, the glass retains high optical clarity and excellent visible light transmittance, allowing natural light to pass through without compromising aesthetic design.
Yes. The glass is environmentally friendly and non-toxic. It is constructed without hazardous materials and does not emit toxic fumes or gases when exposed to extreme heat, ensuring safer evacuation conditions.
This product features exceptional durability and weather resistance. It offers excellent protection against UV radiation, oxidation, and corrosion, ensuring reliable, long-term performance across various climatic environments.
