China Suppliers Factory Steel Fire Rated Door - High-Performance Fire Resistant Solution
Product Features
Fire Resistance Performance
The door leaf is filled with our self-developed fire-resistant core material, while an intumescent fire-sealing strip between the door frame and the leaf expands under high temperatures to block flame penetration. This structure ensures the steel fire-rated door maintains its thermal insulation performance and meets fire resistance requirements across all rating levels.
Smoke Sealing
The door gap is precisely controlled within 1–3 mm and paired with a door closer to ensure the door remains closed. The fire-sealing strip stays flexible at normal temperatures and expands under heat to tightly seal gaps, effectively preventing the spread of toxic smoke.
Durability & Strength
The door frame and leaf are made of premium galvanized steel with excellent corrosion resistance. The welded or interlocking frame structure provides high impact resistance, ensuring long-term durability in daily use.
Aesthetic Appearance
Available in electrostatic powder coating (colors selectable from the RAL chart) and wood grain transfer finishes (simulating oak, walnut, etc.), the surface coating is smooth and free from pinholes or bubbles, allowing the steel fire-rated doors to complement various architectural styles.
Installation & Maintenance
The frame is fixed with expansion bolts, and the gap between the frame and wall is filled with cement mortar for stability. Routine maintenance is simple—regularly check the hardware for flexibility, clean the sealing strips, and replace any damaged components individually—ensuring a longer service life for the steel fire-rated door.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary differences between Grade A, B, and C steel fire-rated doors?
The main difference lies in their fire integrity and insulation ratings. Grade A provides at least 90 minutes of protection (used for high-risk areas like power rooms), Grade B provides at least 60 minutes (ideal for stairwells and evacuation routes), and Grade C provides at least 30 minutes (suitable for pipe and cable shafts).
How does the smoke sealing mechanism work in these fire doors?
Our steel fire-rated doors feature a precisely controlled door gap (1–3 mm) and are equipped with a high-quality intumescent sealing strip. Under normal temperatures, the strip remains flexible, but when exposed to high heat, it expands rapidly to completely seal the gaps, preventing toxic smoke and gases from passing through.
What core materials are used to ensure fire resistance?
The door leaf is filled with our self-developed, high-density fire-resistant core material. This core offers excellent thermal insulation properties, ensuring the door remains stable and blocks heat transfer during a fire emergency.
Are there customizable aesthetic options available for steel fire doors?
Yes, we offer multiple finish options to match different architectural styles. You can choose electrostatic powder coatings in various colors from the RAL chart, or wood grain transfer finishes that realistically simulate wood types like oak and walnut.
What maintenance is required to ensure the long-term reliability of the doors?
Routine maintenance is straightforward. We recommend regularly checking the hardware (like hinges and door closers) for flexibility, keeping the sealing strips clean, and replacing any worn or damaged components promptly to ensure optimal performance.
